Weekend Summary #3

Friday// I spent Friday in Puyallup with a good friend of mine, Sasha. We met at the camp we were volunteering at over the summer and clicked right away Sadly, we live a couple hours away from each other, so it is hard to hangout. I got to go down to her house this weekend though, for her birthday. We spent the day going to Panera Bread and exploring a cute little park, meeting up with some of her friends and going to pizza, and then we stayed in a cute hotel and watched UP. It was a fun day full of laughs.

Saturday// After we woke up, we headed down to the breakfast they had. We each got a plate piled with waffles and another plate with eggs, bacon, yogurt, and bagels. Of course, we can't forget the chocolate milk. Then, once we had taken all the food we could grab, we headed back to our rooms to eat breakfast in bed and watch the Princess Bride. Afterwords, we went to the Daffodil Parade and got yummy scones. The parade was super fun with lots of cool floats. Once that was finished, the other two girls went home and Sasha and I headed over to the Southcenter mall to meet my mom and get some shopping done. I bought my first Lush bathbomb and I'm so excited to try it out!

Sunday// I spent the day going to church,(In my new Forever 21 shirt) having lunch with my brothers, and lounging around the house. Our church service was really good! We're going through a hymns series, talking about the back story of each and different scriptures that apply to them. It's really interesting. Lunch was fun too, though I've ate so much this weekend, I feel kind of gross and like I needed to eat a lot of vegetables.

Hope you all had a great weekend as well,

Elizabeth

Weekend Summary #2

Hello.

Today I am here with another weekend summery. I love adventuring and doing different things during the weekend, so you might see a lot of these in the future. I also might share some more pictures of the hike and the little town/fort I visited. It was a super fun weekend though, I'm sad it is over.

Friday// I started the day with finishing up some school, cleaning, and grocery shopping, but later that night I had a friend over and we had a movie night. We watched all musicals since I am kind of obsessed with them and she enjoys them too. We watched Hairspray, a movie we both love; Grease, a movie she adores but I hadn't watched yet; and lastly, Les Miserables. I absolutely love that movie and the book. When I had heard she hadn't seen it, I forced her to watch it. She didn't like it to much, but it was still a great night!

Saturday// After we woke up from a night of watching movies and eating popcorn, we made chocolate pancakes with homemade raspberry jam and whip cream. They were delicious! Afterwords, my family packed up our car and we went to explore Fort Casey and Coupeville out on Whidbey Island. It was a super fun day! I took a ton of pictures of both the fort and the adorable little town. We also got to watch the sunset, it was beautiful! More pictures may be coming soon. :)

Sunday// Sunday was another fun day! After church, some of my brothers and I's friends went
on a hike up Sauk Mountain. The view was amazing, but the trail was super muddy, and at times, covered in snow, so we didn't trek up the entire way. We definitely need to return in the summer though, when all the snow is gone and we aren't slipping off the trail and breaking our necks. Afterwords, we went and got pizza at our favorite pizza joint. Again, I may also post a few more pictures of this hike if you are all interested. :)

What did you do this weekend? Are there any interesting hikes near where you live?

I hope you had a fantastic weekend,

Elizabeth

Weekend Summary #1

Hello everyone,

I'm so sorry for taking a small leave of absence. Honestly, the week off has been nice. I needed to get caught up on school, and on Wednesday I began to show small signs of getting sick. I didn't have any drafts ready to work on, and quite frankly, I didn't feel up to witting any, so I just let Whimsical Thoughts be quiet for a little while. I know now to always have drafts ready. I am feeling better though, so I thought I'd give you all a little behind the scenes of what I do on my weekends.

Friday// I spent most of the day organizing schoolwork and my room. The Semester just ended for me so I was making sure all my homework was in the proper place and available for my teachers and mom to see them. I also organized my desk, which use to be so messy! Of course, I got side tracked and started painting sketching, and journaling random things. It's very nice to have a somewhat clean desk now though.

Saturday// was when I was probably feeling the sickest, especially through the morning and afternoon. I took a nap, stayed close to my DayQuil, had multiple cups of tea, and watched excessive amounts of Switched at Birth. Does anyone else watch that show? I am obsessed with it right now. Emmett is my favorite character, though what he did to Bay made me pretty angry. After my Netflix session, I went over to a friends house who was also feeling sick. We watched a movie and ate Chinese food, because who wouldn't feel better when they have some?

Sunday// I woke up again feeling pretty awful, but some DayQuil and a long shower helped a lot. In need of some fresh air, I took a walk to the store by my house and treated myself to a SoBe. Strawberry-Banana is my favorite. I later went to my church's potluck/worship/prayer event. It was super good! After that, My three brothers and I all went to DQ and had a long chat over some ice cream. It's so nice to be able to hangout with them, I have the best brothers ever!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend, what did you did that was interesting? Leave me a comment below so we can chat!

With Love,

Elizabeth
