Sunny Day Outfit // Impromptu Adventures

Hello everyone,

There is no better friend than a friend who is totally willing to be picked up with no notice whatsoever and is then whisked off on some random adventure, that of course requires her to take pictures. ;) This day in particular, was just another one of our normal outings. Getting lost, trying to find parking (Shout out too the cool Irish guy who gave us his parking receipt), ice cream, impromptu photo shoots, me yelling at cars, getting lost again, belting out tunes. It seems mundane, but life has a funny way of making the little things the things you cherish the most.

My outfit was super simple, but sometimes I feel the most confident in something casual and basic. Here in Washington, we've had bipolar weather. One day it's 80 degrees, the next it's 50 degrees and raining. On this particular day, it was pretty hot so a simple dress and light, airy cardigan was perfect for the outdoors. I loved the red building, so Chloe and I both jumped at the idea of taking some shots in front of it. I'm still not quite sure the purpose of that shop, but at least it's pretty.

It was such a joy to be with Chloe and going wherever we decided in that moment. Come summer, many more impromptu trips and photo shoots are coming, so stay tuned!

With love,

Elizabeth

    1. You're totally right!! It's not a proper adventure unless you get lost, forget stuff, and have no freaking clue what's going on.

I just found your blog, Elizabeth, and I enjoyed browsing your previous posts, and am looking forward to reading more in the future! I also related a lot to your post 'Embracing the Pain'. I lost my dad to cancer too, so it's a topic close to home. Thanks for sharing your story, and keep on being brave and courageous!

    Blessings,
    Jessica :)
