February Favorites

Hello,

Yay, March has finally arrived! Just a few more weeks till spring and flowers and prettyness :) Here are my February favorites though, as we wait for spring to arrive.

Movie// I would have to say Despicable Me 2 is one of my favorite movies this month. I hadn't watched it in forever, but when I was looking for a cute movie to bring babysitting, that was the first one that caught my eye. It was so cute, plus the little boy I was watching started to snuggle up in my arms and fall asleep. It was so adorable <3

Book// One of the books I decided to re-read this month was Anne of Green Gables. I read this book in 7th grade, but I watched the movie again this month and it made me want to read the book again. It is such a cute story with beautiful characters. Obviously Gilbert is my favorite, he is so dreamy! (Yes, I just said that.) Seriously though, this is a must read at least once in your life!

Writing// As I mentioned in my last favorites post, in English we've been studying poetry. I love poetry even better now and I can't stop writing it. It is so deep and stunning. There is a poetry writing competition in my school this year, and I am so excited to enter. Writing is such a passion of mine and I love any chance I can get to use it. If you all are interested, I could post some more poetry here on my blog.

Face// February has not been loving my face, so I decided to try out a new face wash. I love it! Clean and Clear's Night Relaxing wash is so good, plus it really does help you relax at night. I also love their Morning Burst wash, but I ran out of it a while ago and just haven't repurchased it again. I definitely recommend trying out both products though!

Makeup// Now, I am not really that daring when it comes to makeup, especially eye makeup, I rarely wear eyeliner, and if I wear eye shadow, it is normally neutral. That is why I was so surprised when I realized how much I love L'Oreal's eye shadow in violet petal. It is a really soft purple, but makes your eyes really pop.

Fashion// This month, I've been wearing lots of dresses, tights, boots, scarfs, ect. My go-to pair of shoes has been my brown booties. They are actually pretty comfortable and go with almost everything. I think I got them around 8th grade at Ross, and I have loved them ever since. I really haven't grown at all since 7th grade, so pretty much everything from there and on I still have! Oh well, I guess that is somewhat of a good thing.

Food// I've been kind of forcing myself to be a morning person this month and it's been really great! I get to have time to make and enjoy breakfast, do my devotions, and catch up on some blogging. My go-to breakfast this month has been granola sprinkled over Greek yogurt. It is so yummy, and somewhat healthy. My favorite granola so far has been Udi's vanilla granola, it's so good!

Blog// It was hard to narrow it down to one blog that was my favorite, but I had to give it to Cally's blog, Words Passing You By. I highly recommend you all go check it out and follow. Her writing is so beautiful and raw. Every single one of her posts just tugs at you heart and really makes you feel something deep. Check out her blog here, I guarantee you are going to love it, and may possibly begin to cry.

Post// I think the one post that has really made me laugh the most is Elissa's 29 Thoughts I Had This Weekend. Her writing style is so funny and makes me smile every time I read it. You can also check out her blog, Letters To Jayna. Elissa is a super good friend of mine from school, so you should all check her out and follow her. :)

What were some of your favorites this month? Leave me a comment down below.

With love,

Elizabeth

  3. Oh boy, do I know the facial feeling! Just at the end of February, my face went, BOOM! Icky yuckiness! I do have a face mask though, which always makes me feel all rejuvenated. I'm working on being a morning person, I have so much stuff I want to do, plus I'm missing the sunrise. Every. Single. Day. :'(
